40th Ruby Wedding Anniversary Clock

This lovely clock is free standing & both the base & the back of the clock are covered in a soft black velvet like material so as not to scratch any surface it is placed on.  The clock is decorated with an intricate silver coloured flower design which goes right the way around the outer edge.  Moving into the middle of the clock, this is followed by a marble pearl type border which is approximately 2cm wide.  Then the actual clock itself is surrounded by a silver colour frame which is broken at the top by a Ruby coloured flower (signifying the Ruby Anniversary) with green leaves.  At the bottom of this border there is a small white coloured plaque with the words '40th Anniversary' written on it in a silver colour.  On the reverse of the clock is where the mechanism is and this is where the single AA battery (not supplied) goes in.  This is simply a slide off battery compartment so no need for a screwdriver.
